Lisa was a double-major (English/Mathematics) and played volleyball and tennis at Maryville College, graduating in 1988. She received a Master of Arts in Education from George Washington University in 1992.

Lisa retired from the Federal government in 2020, after 32 years of Federal service, mostly in the Washington, DC, area. She feels blessed that she was able to retire in Maryville.

Lisa is a certified volleyball official and volunteers as a line judge for the Lady Scots volleyball team. 

Lisa is an avid pickleball player and certified instructor. 

She also enjoys reading, gardening, making collages, kayaking, hiking, biking, and walking the Greenway with her dog. Her son is a student at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
